Didier Terme

Didier Terme

Didier Terme is a self-taught painter born in 1952. His first paintings date back to the 1980s. In the 1990s, his work was mainly decorative, with a focus on painting the mountains. In 2008, he began to devote himself entirely to painting, and it wasn’t until 2015 that he started his work on scribbles. His first works in their current form on paper were created in 2017. Using this new "digital" technique, Didier Terme offers shapes that can be read at different levels, depending on whether you are close to the work, further away or if you look at it straight on or from an angle... Visual perceptions shift and the mind is free to pause on each pleasing section.
