Cédric Bouteiller

Cédric Bouteiller was born in Rognac in 1970. He lives and works in the south of France. He studied Art and Philosophy in Aix-en-Provence before travelling to New York, London, and Shanghai. Cédric has been involved with the Street Art movement since 2009. Preserving the pictorial aesthetics he holds dear, the photographer-painter’s pictures are enriched with urban life via images printed on brushed aluminium, enhanced with collages, drawings, and tags covered with epoxy resin. Cédric has further developed this work with his graffiti creations where he "tags" emblematic figures such as Snow White, Mickey Mouse, and Charlie Chaplin. The artist’s newest works present a third dimension to his œuvre : abstraction.
