Sophie MABILLE
Sophie was born and lives in Paris. As a child, photography was already her way to capture life. From 1978 until 1984, as an assistant, she studies photography with Bernard Esclapez. In 1984, she moves to Los Angeles and on to New York in 1985 where she is an assistant photographer while attending The School of Visual Arts. Back in Paris in 1990, she completed a master of international business. Chosen for her insight on object and poeple, she worked as a concepteur and stylist for 'La Maison Dior' in Paris and later for the Villeroy&Boch group in Luxembourg. Since 2002, she has devoted herself fully to photography, pursuing commissions projects and her own artistic projetcs.
